Work Out BEFORE You Pig Out!

How are you preparing for Thanksgiving? Meditating on what not to say to your in-laws or your significant other's friends? Wishing you had some place to go for a fun run or try a new gym, to burn those pre-pie calories?


The low down.



The Tongue River area : The Tongue River Community Center, is hosting their second 5K Run of their 2019/2020 run series on Thursday. Starts at 8 a.m. If you get registered by Wednesday, it's $5.00 or tomorrow for $10.00 (or 2 cans of non perishable food items). Looks to be a cool morning though very pretty. If you'd like something a bit more intense.... (or even maybe after your run in Tongue River) a "boot camp" styled workout, is sure to please! Hit Purenergy at 9:30 a.m.





An hour of varied exercises, great music and two, very knowledgeable instructors.

You'll definitely be able to eat a second piece of pie (or another helping of butter pecan sweet potatoes) after this workout (whether you go for that run, or not). You'll want to stay for this whole workout, don't ditch out early......


And if these two options are a little early for you, or you are stuffing the turkey and can't make it... the Annual (41st year) 5K Turkey Trot will once again be held at Kendrick Park. 10:00 a.m. $5.00 per person, for a group of 4 to 10, it's $20.00 for the group. There is even a 1-mile "fun run/walk" for the littles - everyone can participate. You can walk it, run it, a little bit of both. It is a timed event.



Exercise is a great way to say "Thank you" to your body, for what it does for you, each and every day!
